Policy Statement

The Management and Staff at Robowash are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all employee’s, contractors, customers, visitors and other relevant interested parties. Management recognises its moral and legal responsibilities under occupational safety and health legislation to provide a safe and healthy work environment at all times.

Occupational Health & Safety Objectives

The Management and Staff at Robowash are committed and will strive to:

  • Eliminate where possible, all workplace related injuries and illnesses through a well developed and
  • implemented Occupational Health & Safety Management System
  • Provide adequate resources including personal protective equipment, training, inductions and
  • documentation in the aim of protecting people from injuries and illnesses
  • Identify, control and eliminate workshop and site hazards through inspections and audits
  • As part of our systems and processes we will:
  • Establish and monitor measurable occupational health & safety objectives and targets aimed at
  • the elimination of workplace illness and injuries
  • Ensure this policy is available to all relevant interested parties
  • Train, educate and communicate with employee’s, contractors, customers, visitors and other
  • relevant interested parties regarding this policy and occupational health & safety expectations
  • where necessary
  • Establish and implement a robust management review schedule to address and review risks and
  • opportunities for improvement
  • Continually improve our Occupational Health & Safety Management System
  • Compliance to statutory, regulatory and other requirements
  • Apply a Process Based Approach to our business management systems
  • Apply Risk Based Thinking within our systems, operations and processes
  • Ensure our Occupational Health & Safety Management System is conformant and certified to
  • AS/NZS 4801 2001 and OSHAS 18001 2007
  • Review this policy annually
